Carl Swarts, DC

Dr. Swarts received his B.S. degree from the University of California Riverside and training in medical technology from Los Angeles County University of Southern California Medical Center. He worked in the medical field as a medical technologist for 18 years before deciding to make a change in careers. With a interest in science and a love for helping people he decided to pursue a career in chiropractic medicine.

In 1989 he and his wife, Elizabeth, and son, Brian, left their home in central California to moved to Portland to continue his education at Western States Chiropractic University. He graduated from Western States summa cum laude and valedictorian of his class in December of 1992. He began practicing in Sandy about one and a half years later.

He has a family focused practice with an interest in helping children as well as their parents. He knows the importance of helping a child to develop free of subluxations to prevent some of the chronic problems they may develop as adults. Prevention makes as lot of sense, especially these days with the rising costs of medical care.
